Happiest Birthday Wishes card

You might recognize this card from the Worldwide Week of Workshops ideas. I loved the look of it and recreated it with some small variations. Happiest Birthday Wishes is a set available exclusively to hostesses. I'll be making more items with the set through June 2012!

Thankful

Created with My Digital Studio. Who are you thankful for?

Design your own scrapbook page in My Digital Studio

So easy and the results are so gratifying! I'm not much of a paper scrapbooker, but this works for me! This is going to be a swatchbook of all my dining outings with my mom, aunt and cousins. Our first initials spell "SPPASMS," which is sort of funny and accurate.  Everyone brings small presents to share before we eat and we always take a picture before we leave the restaurant. For October, we all got some scary gloves to wear.

Use a designer template to create a scrapbook page in My Digital Studio

Well, I am not a big scrapbooker, so I took a card template and made that my scrapbook page. This is a photo I took of my new betta, Fiesty! He lives in my cubicle and is no more that a foot away from me at my desk. He is so soothing to look at and he can even do a few tricks. I shot this photo with a Nikon D40 SLR camera.not bad, eh? Rock-a-bye, Fiesty, in your fish bowl...

Know how to do the following in My Digital Studio

In getting certified, you need to know how to use the major tools in MDS. You also need to know how to modify objects you have placed on your page. Here is my creation which touches on all the learning points.

On my way to certification in My Digital Studio

I had no idea we had training on the demonstrator website so that we can become certified! I love you, Stampin' Up!, and here is my holiday greeting/thank you art. Hope to be certified before the week's end! This art uses Thank You Kindly, Winter Post, Christmas Jingle, and Snowburst brushes.

Gift Givers, Pennant Parade Card

Here is my version of the card in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used the scallop circle punch, hostess DSP, and I dyed white grosgrain ribbon with Lucky Limeade ink. I also used Dazzling Diamonds glitter to fill the shaker portion and used my BigShot to make the dot texture. I stamped "merry" onto the hostess DSP and punched it out with the 3/4" circle punch and made a tag out of that. This was a card that was more involved than I usually do, but I wanted to learn how to make a shaker card. I did it!
