Just can't get over the fact that Short and Sweet is retiring soon! Here it is (again) with my favorite set to pair it with, Every Little Bit. Just using up some scraps here on a notecard.

This is a sneak preview of a workshop project for March, a cute little treat tube. Stampin' Up! gave us the instructions for this item in our latest issue of Stampin' Success magazine. I was so excited to try it out with my own stamp collection.

Here is a litte 3x3 card with Sahara Sand, Bravo Burgundy, Paisley Petals DSP and black grosgrain ribbon. A great workshop card!

Lately I've been noticing that I am feeling less and less connected to the actual stamping of a card. What about you? So last night I stamped and cut out a bunch of these little kitties from the Every Little Bit set. I then decided to leave a few uncut on the paper and just started doodling around them with my Stampin' Write Marker. Then I reached for this other thing called a #2 pencil and started doodling with that. Wow, it was so freeing and nifty. I suggest you try it! It can be messy and it may not win any beauty contests, but it is a fun exercise! This uses So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake. Can't finish without at least one rhinestone!

I wonder if you recognize this Halloween card. It was featured in the monthly newsletter that I send out! I made a few variations on it with different stamp sets, layout tweaks and candy choice (gumballs here), but the idea is so fun! Inside is stamped "Deliciously made for you." A bit late for the Christmas in July post I wanted to schedule. Here is a nice New England "Summer Sun"-set to surround this little holder...it made the taffeta ribbon shimmer. This is a CASE'd 3D template from another demonstrator, Linda C. My version uses the Short and Sweet and Every Little Bit stamp set. I also added the 2" oval punch and little flower punch. I'm sure you recognize the little mints peeking through the punched hole.
