Pennant Parade Ten Minute Totables

Geometric-themed cards seem to be a trend lately, so I pulled out this set from the current catalog for some experiments. These can easily be made into Ten Minute Totables. I only used Basic Grey for the ink, the pennant punch and a handful of little scraps. That's Summer Starfruit with Bashful Blue for the bottom papers; Cameo Coral, Summer Starfruit and Baja Breeze for the top ones.I lined the inside of the bottom card with Summer Starfruit. It looks more awesome than the photo shows. Stamps and supplies: Stampin' Up!

Aviary, Pennant Parade card

I colored a section of one of the cage stamps to make balloon strings!

Pennant Parade, On Your Birthday Card

If you ever read "Sparkle and Spin" as a child, you might recognize this look.

Pennant Parade, Pendant Park, C is for Cat card

Here is another card I made this weekend that I think I will enter in the Artisan Award. I always feel bad for stamp sets I do not see getting used very much. I LOVE these three and have a feeling that a few of them may be on the retirement list soon. It's nice to dream about potential shopping sprees with the award prizes Stampin' Up is offering!

Gift Givers, Pennant Parade Card

Here is my version of the card in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used the scallop circle punch, hostess DSP, and I dyed white grosgrain ribbon with Lucky Limeade ink. I also used Dazzling Diamonds glitter to fill the shaker portion and used my BigShot to make the dot texture. I stamped "merry" onto the hostess DSP and punched it out with the 3/4" circle punch and made a tag out of that. This was a card that was more involved than I usually do, but I wanted to learn how to make a shaker card. I did it!

CASE - Pennant Parade card

This is a design from another demonstrator, Amy O. I found it on our demonstrator website in a special section where we share pictures of our work. I copied and stamped it exactly (CASE'd). Well, I used rhinestones instead of pearls and used a different sentiment stamp. But the colors and layout I loved the way they were. That's one of the cool things about getting ideas from other stampers, you can modify them like that!
