Memory keeping demo with Perfect Days card pack

Taking a break from pottery painting to demonstrate a pocket page layout for you. I am using Stampin' Up!'s Memories & More collection of items along with the Number of Years stamp set. I had never been a scrapbooker before because it seemed like developing a layout took forever. Now that there are pocket pages and themed card collections, it is very easy and fun to do. See for yourself! Are you a scrapbooker or want to learn more about pocket page memory keeping? Stay tuned for upcoming classes and scrap-a-thons at Clayground of Worcester!

Holiday mish-mash cards

Working on some holiday cards for the first time in a long time. I have a nine-month old baby and a pottery painting studio that are both starting to sort themselves into a smooth enough routine so that I can get back to my hobbies. Using Stampin' Up! cardstock, Lawn Fawn decorative paper and stamps and drawing my own emoji faces and loops using a bit of Zentangle. This could end up being a make and take for the studio, too. So if you like them, let me know!

Good Fortune birthday card

Made another trip to Ink About It in Westford last week to get this adorable set. One of my friends celebrated her birthday last week at a chinese restaurant she loves so I had to make this for her. Stamps  and decorative paper:Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Shiny nose 'n nice list for Lawnscaping Challenge #48

Here is my entry for Lawnscaping Challenge #48 . I tried to capture the sparkle of glitter on the list but it does not show up too well. If anyone has a trick to make glitter twinkle in a photo, please let me know! At least I got the rhinestone nose on the reindeer to look luminous. I hope all you Lawn Fawn fans have a great holiday time. I hope Santa brings me more of their stamps! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Critters Down Under birthday card

Here is a simple little birthday card that I made last night. I cased the colors and layout from SU demonstrator Julie D . I think I will be casing a lot of her stuff in the future. I intend to send a lot of cards for Operation Write Home in the months ahead and her card layouts look like they are going to work well for that. Stamps and decorative papers: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Judy's Blooms, Blissful Botanicals notecards and envelopes

Managed to whip these up today on my lunch break at work. Tomorrow I am going to make a portfolio pocket to hold them all. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Pierce-y, Point-y, Poke-y Hoppy Halloween

Just a riff on Yainea's fun Lawn Fawn DT card for Hoppy Halloween with bunnicula sucking out the vitamins from the carrots. I loved that SO much. Tried to keep the pointy teeth motif theme with pointy pennants, tiny pinpoint dotted ribbon and a pointy staple. Stamps and decorative paper: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Mind Over Matter for Lawnscaping Challenge #42

In my opinion, there is no time like Halloween season to try to conquer one's phobias. One of my biggest is arachnophobia. This morning I went downstairs to feed my guinea pigs and found a huge spider on the wall. I let him survive, but I hope he moves out of sight soon. Ugh. If only all spiders were as cute as this one in Lawn Fawn's Heebie Jeebies set. This is my entry for the Getting Texty Lawnscaping Challenge . Stamps and decorative papers: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Love and Breakfast OWH Card

This week, Operation Write Home is teaming up with Lawn Fawn to gather up some cards for service people to send to their children. This is a general purpose one I made that says "hello" on the inside. Tried to emboss with a texture that reminds one of the aroma of fresh toast! Hope the young person who may receive it will like it!

Flying By Card

Yesterday I saw this awesome card at Artfelt Impressions and I had to copy it almost exactly. It was perfect for Lawn Fawn's Flying By set. Deb is, like, the ultimate teacher if you want to learn how to make CAS layouts. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Supplies: Stampin' Up!

Critters in the Sea, Critters Ever After Card

I'm doing double duty on challenges this week. This is for the 5th CASology Challenge and Lawnscaping Challenge #39 . I sincerely hope that more people will come on board with CASology's challenge. I like the thoughtfulness that is put into it by their design team. Of course, I'll be forever hooked on the Lawnscaping Challenge as long as there are Lawn Fawn stamps to play with. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Critters in the Sea Card

Tried practicing with Crystal Effects yesterday to add a little dimensional fun here. For me, it's always a 50/50 chance that the colors underneath it will bleed, but in this case, I think the bleed is okay on a turtle shell. Inside I used "happy" and "birthday" from the Hats Off to You set. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Love and Breakfast, Critters on the Farm Card

This would be a good card for a consistent over-acheiver, or maybe a little one who is just about to begin the fifth grade. :-) Practiced last night with Blender Pens, paper piercing, and a tab label punch. This is patterned paper from SU called "Rebecca." It's retired so I try to use it sparingly. I want to make it last forever! This is also my entry for CASology #4 , a new challenge blog that is right up my alley. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Apothecary Art So Grateful Card

Here is a set of cards inspired by a Simplicity post from yesterday. I loved it so much I went home and tried it myself last night. It would be a great make-and-take to teach people how to use a paper piercing tool and pierce guide sheet. It would also make a good Starter Kit card. I'd earned some free Brights Brads so this card worked out very well for me for using them. Stamps and supplies: Stampin' Up!

On the Mend, My Silly Valentine Cards

I am having lunch with my cousins this Saturday and we like to give little presents when we meet. These use Lawn Fawn's On the Mend set for the notecard (inside has "sending hugs" stamp) and the little envelope has the hearts from My Silly Valentine. They will each get a card and an envelope. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up

Homegrown Hey You're Sweet, Tomato MDS Card

Here's a card made with MDS, cardstock and my home printer. It uses the brush sets Homegrown and Chateau Bella from MDS.  You get a lot more creative freedom in MDS, including the opportunity to create your own sentiments. (Digital) Stamps and supplies by Stampin' Up!

Packed for Everything, God's Blessings Card

Remember way back when SU gave us the Packed for Everything freebie for asking a friend to host a workshop? Well, I know a lot of people rolled their eyes at this choice, but I thought it had a lot of potential for some funny stuff. Here's what I decided to do with my sets! Hope it gets you thinking of what you can do with yours! Stamps and supplies: Stampin' Up!

I like ewe, dad. (but really love you)

Remembering my dad this Father's Day. I might wrap this up tightly in plastic and place it on his memorial this Sunday. I'm entering this in my first Mojo Monday Challenge , #245, today! Yes, I tweaked the layout quite a bit to suit my tastes but it was definitely my starting point. This uses Lawn Fawn sets Critters in the Burbs, Critters on the Farm and Sunny Skies. I found the little lamb in the Denami Designs booth at the Heirloom Festival in Springfield, MA a few weeks ago. I drew a little smile on him. Stamps: Lawn Fawn, Denami Designs; Supplies: Stampin' Up!

Pun Fun InColor Card

Here is a favorite retired set I'm using for a thank you card to my sweetie's parents. You can't really see it very well here, but I used the striped embossing folder for the bottom portion of the green card. It is very cute and you can adapt this for a workshop card using current stamps and designer paper. I like how the little skunk is offering the flower to the butterfly. This uses the retired Everyday Enchantment DSP and Attic Boutique DSP.

Pennant Parade, Pendant Park, C is for Cat card

Here is another card I made this weekend that I think I will enter in the Artisan Award. I always feel bad for stamp sets I do not see getting used very much. I LOVE these three and have a feeling that a few of them may be on the retirement list soon. It's nice to dream about potential shopping sprees with the award prizes Stampin' Up is offering!
