Sale-a-bration 2011 Workshop

A quick snapshot of what I demo'd for Sale-a-Bration this year. The little candy holder was the make and take. I'll post these individually soon.

Ornate Blossom and Belles Attentions card

One of the best things about stamping...the card swaps!! My Regional 2011 Swap: A three pack! They are so simple, you can just re-create them by looking. I wanted to show a good make-and-take idea. It also works for Sale-a-Bration and Hostess benefit promotion.

Forest Friends Card

Certainly Celery, Elegant Eggplant paper and ink Forest Friends and Sincere Salutations sets A great make-and-take!

Who is this good looking guy?

He's one of the foster guinea pigs at The Critter Connection in Connecticut. Before you head to the pet store for a cavy, check out their website at ctguineapigrescue.org . They have so many loving guinea pigs looking for forever homes. This was a drawing I did that I had made into a rubber stamp by an engraver. The stamp definitely did not turn out as high quality as Stampin' Up!'s stamps. I'm waiting for the day they announce that they'll take orders for drawings we make for ourselves! ;-)

Paisley Prints and Pensees Ecloses Card

This is Project #1 from my Stampin’ Up! September/October workshop class. Stamps: Paisley Prints Pensees Ecloses (Hostess Level 1) It gives a basic introduction to Stampin’ Up! accessories, new clear mount stamps, and having stamp sets available in French or Spanish. You can demonstrate a kind of “two step” stamping in which the clear mount aids in the positioning of the heart over the pumpkin. I’m actually very proud of this project and that it teaches stamping basics with only a few accessories. I try to make all of my workshop projects VERY simple. It’s how I prefer to stamp for myself and it does not overwhelm my attendees.

Build-a-Roo Card

Created for the Holiday Mini Catalog swap in 2010 (though I never ended up using any of the mini products...oops). You can pretty much CASE this just by looking. I'll only add that the "stitching" was done using the Paper Piercing Tool and Mat and the White Gel Pen. Illustrates 2-Step Stampin' and Versamark.

Pendant Park Valentine Card

A StazOn and Blender Pen make-and-take that I did with the men at work for Valentine's Day. Also used were the paper piercing tool and a Stampin' Write marker. The inside was stamped in black with "Love grows all around" from the Blowing Kisses set.

Remember this friendly, versatile artist.

Hi, there. I'm inkerbelle. To the left is a drawing I did of my guinea pig, Miles. I'm here stampin' in Sutton, MA!
