Critters in the Burbs birthday card for Lawnscaping Challenge #49

Here's a little entry for Lawnscaping Challenge #49 . It is their birthday anniversary and I wanted to thank them for maintaining such an awesome site. It looks like a lot of work to host a blog like this so I really appreciate how fun Laurel makes it. Here's to you, birthday blog! Stamps and decorative paper: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Lawnscaping Fall Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Lawnscaping Fall Blog Hop . You should have come to me by way of Christiana . We've had some great sleeping weather here in central Massachusetts. What about you? I was inspired by that, the covered bridge (a big thing here in New England) showing the row of support beams, and the vibrant yellow-orange colors. I made the hammocks out of the bottoms of the snowmen in the Making Frosty Friends set. Let me know if you need me to explain how. Also, the snowman arms are the rakes. Now, head on over to Danielle . If you've gotten off-track, don't worry! Head back to the Lawnscaping blog  to see the complete list of designers and prize information! This hop runs from Friday, October 5th, all the way until Sunday, October 7th. Make sure to comment on all of the blogs to be eligible for some FANTASTIC prizes! All of the details can be found on the Lawnscaping home page.

Patchy patterns Lawnscaping Challenge #40

Had some fun making my own patterned papers for the Lawnscaping Challenge #40 . I'm so-so about printed patterns. I'd rather do this because it is more organic and kind of a meditative activity. Spent the past weekend visiting friends in NYC and made a stop at The Ink Pad in Manhattan to clean them out of Lawn Fawn stamps that I did not have yet. :-) Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

OLW92 You've Got Mail, Critters in the Burbs/on the Farm Card

Here is my first One Layer Wednesday Challenge card. Okay, so I have a teeny bit of layering, but I loved the theme idea. The theme is "on the edge" so I made my little squirrel hop in from the left edge of the card. I also made it look like the little bird is helping hold the chute open for him. The snail was late to the event but I'm sure his intentions were good. I hope you like what I made. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Supplies: Stampin' Up!

I like ewe, dad. (but really love you)

Remembering my dad this Father's Day. I might wrap this up tightly in plastic and place it on his memorial this Sunday. I'm entering this in my first Mojo Monday Challenge , #245, today! Yes, I tweaked the layout quite a bit to suit my tastes but it was definitely my starting point. This uses Lawn Fawn sets Critters in the Burbs, Critters on the Farm and Sunny Skies. I found the little lamb in the Denami Designs booth at the Heirloom Festival in Springfield, MA a few weeks ago. I drew a little smile on him. Stamps: Lawn Fawn, Denami Designs; Supplies: Stampin' Up!
