Back to stamping!

We're working on some card making classes over at Clayground. This uses Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts stamps and Stampin' Up! Supplies. It demonstrates a direct to paper technique.

Many Thanks notecard

Here's a tiny token for a friend who gave me an unexpected gift last week, a great book to read and keep. I needed to play with some Lawn Fawn after all the Zentangle practice! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

FINALLY got around to completing my Regionals projects

I went to the Stampin' Up Regionals Conference in 2012 and, as usual, I was so involved in swapping and talking that I neglected to actually do my make and takes. These use some Stampin' Up! My Paper Pumpkin stamps, Short and Sweet, as well as a Double D Rubber stamp of a hand print.

Admit One back to the blogosphere!

Wow, it has been a while since I posted. Thought I'd tack on this little card. I'm placing it at my father's graveside for Father's Day in protective plastic. I took inspiration from OWH's sketches. This was their very first one! I'm starting from scratch to warm up my brain for more card challenges. I'm pretty sure my dad will love this. He alays wanted me to do watercolor art. Close enough? Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Two weeks to Valentine's Day

Enjoy your Sweetheart candies while they last! Stamp and supplies: Stampin' Up!

Stay snug this winter for CASology #26

Here's a quick entry for CASology #26 . Just trying to imagine not going stir crazy all cooped up inside the house on a blustery day and I came up with this. My birds are taking turns thawing from the outdoors under a lamp. Hope you like it! Stamps and decorative papers: Lawn Fawn Post stamp and supplies: Stampin' Up!

Critters in the Burbs birthday card for Lawnscaping Challenge #49

Here's a little entry for Lawnscaping Challenge #49 . It is their birthday anniversary and I wanted to thank them for maintaining such an awesome site. It looks like a lot of work to host a blog like this so I really appreciate how fun Laurel makes it. Here's to you, birthday blog! Stamps and decorative paper: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Blissful Botanicals with some leftover Fa-La-La

Sounds like a meal at a health food restaurant, eh? Just playing around with some Lawn Fawn decorative paper scraps. I'm always running low on birthday cards so I made this one last night with "Happy Birthday" stamped on the inside. This is a cased layout from an SU! demonstrator. I'll post her name as soon as I find it in my files!!!! Stamps and decorative paper: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Patterned Occasions get well card

Happy Sale-a-bration 2013 to all you Stampin' Up! fans! This Patterned Occasions set is possibly one of the cutest SAB sets that I have ever seen in all my SU! years. I'll likely be using this often. Once you use the dotted embossing folder to make a stack of middle layers with your Big Shot, this card could make a great Ten Minute Totable for this month to carry around in your bag. I used Cameo Coral and Chocolate Chip markers, Sahara Sand scraps and the small/large oval punches. That way you can show someone how to stamp something really quick and cute (omg, remember THAT old SAB set?) Stamps and supplies: Stampin' Up!

So one of my colleagues helped me out big yesterday...

...so he got this card in return. I had to work fast, but it went over very well. I combined an idea for a news clipping I saw on MyFonts along with a trend of making faces on top of faux tealights. He really does look like that! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Happy Everything, Judy's Blooms card

Have a lovely holiday week! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Peppermint Starlite for CASology #24

This traditional candy is my focal point for CASology week #24 . I hope all CASology fans have a peaceful holiday week and a prosperous 2013. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Critters in the Sea, Belinda's Borders, Quinn's ABC's Card

I finally got to play with Quinn's ABC's. It is a great set. This is a hybrid card with the rest of the words printed in my favorite font. "Just wavin' hello" is stamped on the inside. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

A Little Birdie Valentine for OWH

I made nine of these little guys last night for Operation Write Home. I also stamped matching envelopes with hearts for them. The inside reads "Happy Valentine's Day." This is a simple one-layered card; hope you like it. BTW, Operation Write Home is accepting Valentine cards until December 31.

Winter Bunny, On the Mend card CASE

My poor uncle is not feeling so hot lately so hopefully this card will cheer him up when I send it to him. I cased this layout from Julie D. Stamps and decorative papers: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Pennant Parade Ten Minute Totables

Geometric-themed cards seem to be a trend lately, so I pulled out this set from the current catalog for some experiments. These can easily be made into Ten Minute Totables. I only used Basic Grey for the ink, the pennant punch and a handful of little scraps. That's Summer Starfruit with Bashful Blue for the bottom papers; Cameo Coral, Summer Starfruit and Baja Breeze for the top ones.I lined the inside of the bottom card with Summer Starfruit. It looks more awesome than the photo shows. Stamps and supplies: Stampin' Up!

For the Birds Ten Minute Totable Card

I thought I would get the ball rolling on some simple quick projects for Workshops on the Go. This is a little one that is in my handbag for this month. It is a 3x3 notecard and envelope. I tried doing Workshops on the Go after listening to a webinar earlier this year. Although I love my Lawn Fawn stamps, I always have a complete all Stampin' Up! project at the ready wherever I am. So far I have had good results. I have all I need in my carrying case to make ten of these. Think it doesn't fit into a little case? Well, it does! I hope you can see what I've used here. I've got River Rock, Pretty in Pink, and Bashful Blue for markers. Textured River Rock cardstock, and Pretty in Pink and Whisper White smooth stock. There are also dimensionals and glue dots there, too. I always carry the personalized wooden stamp to demonstrate the wood mount.

Gnome Sweet Gnome card

Here is a general purpose card using the Top Note Bigz die and some retired papers. My mom loved this card so much when I showed it to her last night that she asked if she could have it. Well, of course.
