Lawnscaping Challenge #36 Splash of Color Card

I think I really like card challenges. They give you practice working on a deadline, for starters. This week's Lawnscaping Challenge #36 theme asks for a splash of color when you stamp with your Lawn Fawn stamps. I hope you like my idea for it. I used the Cozy Christmas set for the fried eggs and the smile on the hard cooked egg. The smile sentiment is from Critters Down Under. I wish I had the set Love n' Breakfast to go with this, but I think this works pretty well without it. I am just over the moon for these stamps. They make me so happy. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Supplies: Stampin' Up P.S. The big egg is stamped with the shape from  "A Good Egg, " a retired Stampin' Up stamp set. But you can easily Google a free clip art egg shape to print and cut out.

OLW92 You've Got Mail, Critters in the Burbs/on the Farm Card

Here is my first One Layer Wednesday Challenge card. Okay, so I have a teeny bit of layering, but I loved the theme idea. The theme is "on the edge" so I made my little squirrel hop in from the left edge of the card. I also made it look like the little bird is helping hold the chute open for him. The snail was late to the event but I'm sure his intentions were good. I hope you like what I made. Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Supplies: Stampin' Up!

I like ewe, dad. (but really love you)

Remembering my dad this Father's Day. I might wrap this up tightly in plastic and place it on his memorial this Sunday. I'm entering this in my first Mojo Monday Challenge , #245, today! Yes, I tweaked the layout quite a bit to suit my tastes but it was definitely my starting point. This uses Lawn Fawn sets Critters in the Burbs, Critters on the Farm and Sunny Skies. I found the little lamb in the Denami Designs booth at the Heirloom Festival in Springfield, MA a few weeks ago. I drew a little smile on him. Critters Ever After Card

Here is my submission for the Lawnscaping Challenge #35. This is the first "challenge" I've ever done. Everyone else's entries are complex, but perhaps my pared down methods will prevail. :-) Good luck to all the other entrants! Stamps: Lawn Fawn ; Supplies: Stampin' Up !

Presenting Swingley!

I am pleased to announce that my first digital stamp is for sale! This is Swingley, a guinea pig stamp. I've been asking for years for guinea pig stamps and finally I just gave up and drew my own. I'd love for you to use Swingley, too! You are welcome to download him for all of your stamping fun. Please let others know you found him here, too! I stamped Lawn Fawn's "thanks" stamp from their Blissful Botanicals suite on top of him. I left that area open so that you could decorate Swingley however suited your tastes. Please let me know if you like him. Thanks for looking! Stamps: Lawn Fawn, Inkerbelle's DigiStamps; Supplies: Stampin' Up!

Judy's Blooms, Happy Summer, Blissful Botanicals, Critters Ever After Card

Here is another card using Lawn Fawn stamps. I have another big order from them coming this week and I cannot WAIT to receive them! This is colored using Stampin' Up!'s 2011-2013 InColor palatte. Stamps: Lawn Fawn, Supplies: Stampin' Up!

Make Lemonade, Blissful Botanicals Card

Last week I had the pleasure of discovering Lawn Fawn stamps and I am officially HOOKED. They are the most friendly and versatile stamps I have ever seen. They also have just the right touch of humor in them, too. And last but not least, the line quality of them is perfect. I do a lot of drawings but it is the BEST when I find a stamp line that looks similar to how I draw. Then I don't have to do the work! I can just have fun creating the scenes that I want with them! Thank you, Lawn Fawn! Stamps: Lawn Fawn, Supplies: Stampin' Up!
