Zentangle 30: String experiments with Tidings, Cresent Moon, Flukes and Fracas

New Zentangle CLOZ by Aimee P. Belair

Zentangle 28: Eke, Sez

Also added Crescent Moon and Static

Zentangle 27: Meer, Reef, Enyshou

Zentangle 26: Pokeleaf and Growth

Zentangle 25: Tidings, Taghpods, Ennies, Perfs enhancement

This tangle also uses Crescent Moon.

Zentangle 24: Zinger and Striping

Zentangle 23: Flux Tangleation, Mysteria, Kathy's Dilemma

Used with a Bales Tangleation and Msst.

Zentangle 22: Tagh and Tat in a mosaic

Here on the lower left tile I placed Tagh and Tat with Tipple. The tangleation of Knight's Bridge uses Emingle and Msst. These are a few other tiles that I have done in the past week as part of a class.

Zentangled car pen update!

Sorry for the delay in updating. I was informed by Molly and Maria a few weeks ago that the pen used in the artwork for this auto was a  'Sharpie oil based paint marker.' They got the info straight from the driver of the car, who had a friend do it for her. Maria quipped, "Pretty cool,  but pretty permanent . . .."

Zentangle Seminar #12: Renaissance tile

Something new from Zentangle!

Zentangle #12 ATC practice on black paper

Zentangle Seminar #12 Zendala using Tripoli and 'Nzeppelin

Oops, no signature, oh well. So much happened at the seminar!

Zentangle Seminar #12 Class Demonstration Tangle

This was a tangle created as if we were students in a Zentangle class. Molly was our teacher. She drew on a large easel and paper pad. I have to learn to practice drawing upright as opposed to drawing on a table.

Zentangle Seminar #12.2: Cadent, Yincut

Zentangle Seminar #12: Bunzo, Ix, Huggins

Zentangle CZT Seminar #12 Verdigogh

A little moment at my seminar to do a tangle of one, Verdigogh. This one uses an enhancement call aura.

Attention dent-prone drivers...

...like me, lol. Yes, you can Zentangle over a dent or two. If you need inspration, consider this example from a Zentangle Seminar #12 participant. This was the main showpiece at the Providence Hotel last week. Even the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) students would pause to take a photo of this Beemer. I hope to tell you what pen was used to make it a resilient design.

I'm a Certified Zentangle Teacher!

At long last, I have become a Certified Zentangle Teacher. A summer and autumn of intensive study followed by four days of teacher training. Let me show you this amazing form of meditation that requires only a pen, pencil and a little piece of paper. No drawing skills required! I'll be posting photos and tangles that took place at the teacher training I took in  Providence, RI. Stay tuned!

Zentangle 21: Rick's Paradox, Betweed

Also used Printemps, Bales, and Onamato

Zentangle 20: 'Nzeppelin, Jetties, Sampson

Didn't really have time to shade this one today, but I like it enough. Added Hollibaugh, Flux, Yincut and Tipple.

Zentangle 19: Rain, Beeline, Cubine

I added Printemps, Nekton, and Ynix.

Zentangle 18: Huggins, Gneiss, Cadent

I had a difficult time with Huggins. But once I figured it out, it was a pleasure.

Zentangle 17: Sedgling, Courant, Vetruvius

Zentangle 16: Squid, Pepper, Ynix

Zentangle 15: Locar, Flux, Verdigogh, Yincut

Locar was difficult for me to master. I figured out the trick of it by making a series of lowercase cursive "r's" (get it?). Then I mirrored them in an opposite line before enclosing them in the downward branches. This would be a great tangle to demonstrate on video, for sure!

Zentangle 14: Dyon. Keeko, Changing et al.

More fun than I thought.

Zentangle 13: Onamato, Floorz, Purk, Beelight (tangleation)

Tried a morph but came up short. Next time. :-)

Zentangle 9: Black tile with Knight's Bridge, Hollibaugh, Tipple, Fescu, Printemps

Zentangle 12: Beelight, Chillon, Bales

Zentangle 11: working with Rounding and Aura Tangleations

Worked quicker than I normally do on this one.

Good Fortune birthday card

Made another trip to Ink About It in Westford last week to get this adorable set. One of my friends celebrated her birthday last week at a chinese restaurant she loves so I had to make this for her. Stamps  and decorative paper:Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Zentangle 10: Finery, Echoism, Flukes

Yes, I did skip Zentangle 9 as I need a black tile in order to make it. So I'm off to make some out of black cardstock for the time being.

Many Thanks notecard

Here's a tiny token for a friend who gave me an unexpected gift last week, a great book to read and keep. I needed to play with some Lawn Fawn after all the Zentangle practice! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Zentangle 8: Vega and Purk

Paying a little more attention to my signature, too.

Zentangle 7: Tangleation ATC

This Tangelation, a blending of Zentangles within Zentangles, features a multitude of patterns learned to date.

Zentangle 6: Mooka, Amaze, Flux

Zentangle ATC

A messy Artist Trading Card...but it was very soothing to make.

FINALLY got around to completing my Regionals projects

I went to the Stampin' Up Regionals Conference in 2012 and, as usual, I was so involved in swapping and talking that I neglected to actually do my make and takes. These use some Stampin' Up! My Paper Pumpkin stamps, Short and Sweet, as well as a Double D Rubber stamp of a hand print.

Zentangle 5: Printemps, Isochore

Fescu, Tipple and Jonqual are also added here. This tile is practice for the "sparkle" effect of Zentangling.

Zentangle 4: Jonqual, Shattuck, Nipa

Zentangle 3: Festune, Hollibaugh, Pokeroot

Continuing through the One-Zentangle-A-Day book as I pave the way towards my October CZT certification.

Lawn Fawn repost for a sunny day

It's been so long since I've played with my Lawn Fawn stamps. I've already asked my dear 'ol mum to take me on a stamping trip for my birthday to Ink About It in Westford. They have the latest series of LF stamps and I really need to update my collection! While not stamping I have been taking this time to update my portfolio of "work work" which you can now see up there on the right. It's been really therapeutic to get organized but I am missing my hobby!

Guinea pig big news

So very impressed with the eBay bidding on this painstakingly crafted guinea pig chain mail. I can think of the many that I've owned (past and present) that could benefit from this outfit. Sometimes their individual piggies personalities just do NOT mesh, so to speak! View the story here .

Cute Overload submish published!

Here is Lady and Ella. They are two Wheaten terrier doggies that belong to my great friends, David and Terry. David took this photo and I loved it so much that I submitted it to Cute Overload . Well, they get a kafrillion submissions a day and look who made the grade! Hope it makes you smile as much as it did me!
