Testing out Marasu, Orlique and Raddox

There are still many tangles that I have not taken for a test drive. I used these along with Fescu, and Jonqual and Knights Bridge. I was wondering how so many tangles would come together, but again I had to tell myself, "focus on the process, not the outcome." Good things happened from there forward, especially after shading with a 2B pencil.

The True Random Number Generator widget has selected comment entry #5: Lana Daniel May 1, 2014 at 11:27 PM My mother was a wonderful artist. She gave me the tools and the instruction to develop into the artist I am today. But most of all she passed along her genetic art/science ability that seems to "run in the family" Congratulations, Lana! Email me at apbelair@gmail.com to give me your mailing details. Enjoy the coasters! Thank you to all who participated and stay tuned for the next giveaway!

May Tangle of the Month: Rixty

Rixty is an organic tangle. That is a tangle that you can twist and turn all around your tile. It also has a number of modifications to explore. This is a monotangle using a basic Rixty. It required increased focus, but at the same time was very relaxing to practice. I started at the outer corner and worked inward, so you may be able to see tiny tweaks that I made as I continued. I actively turned the tile to keep pulling the lines straight towards me with the pen. That worked best for me. More to come.
