Guinea pig big news

So very impressed with the eBay bidding on this painstakingly crafted guinea pig chain mail. I can think of the many that I've owned (past and present) that could benefit from this outfit. Sometimes their individual piggies personalities just do NOT mesh, so to speak! View the story here .

Cute Overload submish published!

Here is Lady and Ella. They are two Wheaten terrier doggies that belong to my great friends, David and Terry. David took this photo and I loved it so much that I submitted it to Cute Overload . Well, they get a kafrillion submissions a day and look who made the grade! Hope it makes you smile as much as it did me!

Zentangle 2: Fescu, Knights Bridge, Static, Tipple

Feeling courageous enough to zoom in a little closer lol. Just registered for the October 2013 Training Seminar. Hope to meet a lot of new people who Zentangle, too!

Zentangle Numero Uno: Crescent Moon, Tipple, Static

Last Friday night I had the pleasure of meeting Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts of Zentangle fame at their exhibit at Alternatives in my old stomping ground of Whitinsville, MA. I was completely blown away at the level of talent they have. I also brought two of my own Zentangles to ask them what they thought of them. Maria said, "These are beautiful." Thank you, Maria. Maybe I can crawl out of my artist's block after all.

Critters Ever After and a special guest

Using sketch 2 from Operation Write Home to make a general card for the troops. This additional critter below is my Pubbadools. He is super chill about mommy being home today.

Admit One back to the blogosphere!

Wow, it has been a while since I posted. Thought I'd tack on this little card. I'm placing it at my father's graveside for Father's Day in protective plastic. I took inspiration from OWH's sketches. This was their very first one! I'm starting from scratch to warm up my brain for more card challenges. I'm pretty sure my dad will love this. He alays wanted me to do watercolor art. Close enough?
