Holiday mish-mash cards

Working on some holiday cards for the first time in a long time. I have a nine-month old baby and a pottery painting studio that are both starting to sort themselves into a smooth enough routine so that I can get back to my hobbies. Using Stampin' Up! cardstock, Lawn Fawn decorative paper and stamps and drawing my own emoji faces and loops using a bit of Zentangle. This could end up being a make and take for the studio, too. So if you like them, let me know!

Good Fortune birthday card

Made another trip to Ink About It in Westford last week to get this adorable set. One of my friends celebrated her birthday last week at a chinese restaurant she loves so I had to make this for her. Stamps  and decorative paper:Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Many Thanks notecard

Here's a tiny token for a friend who gave me an unexpected gift last week, a great book to read and keep. I needed to play with some Lawn Fawn after all the Zentangle practice! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Lawn Fawn repost for a sunny day

It's been so long since I've played with my Lawn Fawn stamps. I've already asked my dear 'ol mum to take me on a stamping trip for my birthday to Ink About It in Westford. They have the latest series of LF stamps and I really need to update my collection! While not stamping I have been taking this time to update my portfolio of "work work" which you can now see up there on the right. It's been really therapeutic to get organized but I am missing my hobby!

Admit One back to the blogosphere!

Wow, it has been a while since I posted. Thought I'd tack on this little card. I'm placing it at my father's graveside for Father's Day in protective plastic. I took inspiration from OWH's sketches. This was their very first one! I'm starting from scratch to warm up my brain for more card challenges. I'm pretty sure my dad will love this. He alays wanted me to do watercolor art. Close enough? Blissful Botanicals with some leftover Fa-La-La

Sounds like a meal at a health food restaurant, eh? Just playing around with some Lawn Fawn decorative paper scraps. I'm always running low on birthday cards so I made this one last night with "Happy Birthday" stamped on the inside. This is a cased layout from an SU! demonstrator. I'll post her name as soon as I find it in my files!!!! Stamps and decorative paper: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

So one of my colleagues helped me out big yesterday...

...so he got this card in return. I had to work fast, but it went over very well. I combined an idea for a news clipping I saw on MyFonts along with a trend of making faces on top of faux tealights. He really does look like that! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!

Shiny nose 'n nice list for Lawnscaping Challenge #48

Here is my entry for Lawnscaping Challenge #48 . I tried to capture the sparkle of glitter on the list but it does not show up too well. If anyone has a trick to make glitter twinkle in a photo, please let me know! At least I got the rhinestone nose on the reindeer to look luminous. I hope all you Lawn Fawn fans have a great holiday time. I hope Santa brings me more of their stamps! Stamps: Lawn Fawn; supplies: Stampin' Up!
