Student Tangle Sunday: Jess W.

Thank you all for sending your contributions!

Zentangle "Ensemble" with Tipple, Zander, Crescent Moon, Hollibaugh, Floorz, Msst, Pokeroot, Static

Here is a Zentangle project that is called an "ensemble" Tiles are set up with a common string and then divided up for more than one tangler to complete. I'll be at C.C. Lowell tomorrow with mothers, sons and daughters as they work to create an ensemble like the one above for mom to have all to herself. Should be a great time for all!

Tangle of the Month: Kunstler

I used this tangle, Kunstler, at some demos this month and the feedback was enthusiastic from young and old. CZT Margaret Bremner adopted it from artist Julianna Kunstler so I thought I would pass it along to you. Great fun with C curves and orbs. For those fearful of shading, it can go with or without.

Student Tangle Sunday (Monday Edition): Elayne F.

A light, whimsical piece by soon-to-be CZT, Elayne! Breathtaking.

New Tangle ZEEYUV by Aimee P. Belair

Here is another tangle I recently made. It is a snap to make and I think it will be a hit with young people. I like tangles that are as minimal in step-outs as possible to re-create. This one has a clue how to make it right in the name. Can you guess it? If you want to see CLOZ, the tangle I made at CZT Seminar 12, click here .

A Zentangle "Fun 52" ATC with Mooka and Tipple

Sometimes CZTs are called on to reach out to others who might need some help or a little pick-me-up. This is one of 52 cards that will be sent to someone who is under the weather. Fifty-one other participants are joining to make their own card to send. Hopefully the patient will love them all!

Why new CZTs for hire should use printable business cards

Since my new business of offering Zentangle classes is evolving every day, I want to make promotional choices that are easy to change while being still being cost effective. So you can see why I really like Avery 5871 printable business cards these days. My latest card reprint was edited to summarize all of the latest means through which I can be contacted. I've been in graphic design and print production for a long time and the new perforation free cards Avery offers are really very good quality and can keep you looking professional as any information changes.

Zentangle Zendala study with Bales, Static, Onamato, Shattuck

I sped through this Zendala, using its tin storage canister as a drawing board on my lap. Can you see my "mistakes?" No, of course not. 'Tis the beauty of a Zentangle!
